The we had a tour around the city, and the guide told us a lot of interesting things.

In the tour we went to time square, Empire State Building, ground zero...

Later, in the afternoon we went to see a musical, it was legally blond. It was so exiting and wonderful. We had a very good time.

The Monday we went to the Statue of Liberty. We went by ferry, we spent all the morning there. The we went out to NY and left for Milford.

Halloween Party

We spent all afternoon preparing our cotumes. The party was in the Youth Center. I was Athena. Everyone was costumed and some were silly. There was food and music and dancing. I wish the party was longer because it was a lot of fun.

Above: Elena, Andrea, Sara, and me with
our costumes.

Friday

In the morning we went to the normal classes. In the afternoon we went to Fenway Park and Mrs.Olano's son gave us an inside tour. He explained the rules of the game to us and told us the history of the Redsox. Then we went to see the Celtics game. The stadium was very large and crowded. At the game we saw another group of Spanish students and we were able to speak with them. This was exciting. The Celtics lost their game but it was still fun.

Monday

We went to Sturbridge village. We saw what it was like to live in America a long time ago. We saw people doing the wash and cooking. There was a woman who died yarn different colors with natural dyes she found from plants. There was a bank, museum, farm, school, and peoples houses. The houses were very small and had only 1 or 2 rooms. Then we had lunch and waited a long time in line for a horse ride. The ride was very short. After the visit all the spanish students went shopping and then went to a pizzeria. At the pizzeria we spoke Spanish with American Spanish students.
